This Week: Increasing the Size of Your Photo Library
To have a custom photo library you can use when posting on social media, you’ll need to start taking pictures on a regular basis. This means there will be times where you’ll take photos on the “spur of the moment”, and there won’t always be someone around to take the photo. No problem! That’s where your iPhone self-timer comes in.
Increase the size of your photo library in five easy steps:
STEP ONE
Find your shot.
Find a candid, spontaneous shot and arrange your photo.
STEP TWO
Find a place for your phone.
Find a place where the phone can sit or put it in a mini tripod.
STEP THREE
Use the timer in the camera app.
Open the camera app on your iPhone. Notice the timer icon along the top bar. Click on the timer and choose 3 or 10 seconds, depending on how much time you need to join the photo.
STEP FOUR
Wait for the countdown.
Tap the shutter release and wait as the countdown and photo takes place.
STEP FIVE
Load the photo into your library.
Post or load the photo into your photo library immediately to ensure it’s handy when you’re ready to post.
Authentic quality photos are the foundation of effective social media. Sure, there are free apps like Unsplash and Pexels, where you’ll find stock photos; and yes, you can occasionally hire a professional photographer. Still, to create a powerful social media feed for your business, you need unique photos of you and your business in action. These types of photos should be taken more frequently. Begin populating your Photo Library today!
