    Connecting the Small Biz Brands App to Your Social Page

    There are three ways to connect to your business’ social media pages to the Small Biz Brands social media app:

    1. Click on Manage your Accounts on the Scheduler and follow the prompts.
    2. Watch this short video.
    3. Read on if you would like detailed information about each step.

    Congrats! You have signed up and accessed the Small Biz Brands app and found your way to the connection tutorial. 

    Now there is one more step you must take to complete your onboarding.

    You need to connect your app to your social media pages. The app must know what pages to send your posts to at the time you designate. See diagram above for a visual representation.

    Here is a Step by Step Guide

    To reassure you:

    • Facebook will take you 6 clicks because, well, they are Facebook.
    • Instagram will take you 4.
    • LinkedIn will take you 3.

    In all cases, one click leads to the next, so you really can’t go wrong.

    For Simplicity

    • If you use Facebook, connect it first.
    • If you use Instagram connect it next.
    • Then LinkedIn.
    If you “only” use LinkedIn, connect it first.

    Here We Go with Facebook

    But first, a brief word about Facebook. Sometimes the difference between your personal page and business page on Facebook is confusing, thus we list each click separately here.
    • From the app homepage, click the “Scheduler” button. 
    • From Scheduler, look to the top left corner of the screen and click on the “Manage Accounts” button.
    • Then click on “Connect to Facebook”. 
    • Then click on “Continue with Facebook”. (Based on the email you provided when you signed up, Facebook can find your page(s)). 
    • Then click on “Continue as ‘your personal name’”.
    • Then choose and click on Connect my Business Account. (Facebook will know this, too, and list it for you. Amazing.)
    • From here, follow the prompts to connect Instagram, if applicable, then LinkedIn.
    • From here, follow the prompts to connect Instagram, if applicable, then LinkedIn.
    For LinkedIn, the app connects to your company page. To post to your LinkedIn personal page, either click on the down arrow to repost to your personal page once the post is live or post directly from the LinkedIn platform to your LinkedIn personal page.

    Next Steps

    You can schedule and place a post immediately, either a test post or a real post. Remember to set the post at least 5 minutes in advance of the current time. So, for example, if it’s now 10:00 am, set it to post to go live at 10:05 am.
