Introduced last week, Reels is getting a lot of attention for Instagram. Reels is IG’s answer to the popularity of TikTok. Though similar, Reels videos are only 15 seconds. They will be featured similarly to how IG shows the posts that you see in Explore. In their words, they will help you find new followers.
15 seconds is short and sweet, so put on your creative hat today and start showing video to attract new customers.
STEP TWO
Pinning your best comments
Instagram now allows you to pin your three best comments to the top of your comment thread. This allows your audience to see those as they scroll by without any extra effort. What better way to build trust than to see what others say about your business.
STEP THREE
Make more of your IG Profile
Take a look at your favorite Instagram pages, besides your own of course. You will notice they’re using their profile in new and interesting ways. You may see more description, relevant emojis, or something different all together. Since this is the first stop before hopefully linking to your website, make it a good one. Try to include a keyword or two. How can you better tell your story here?
